The CBS affiliate in Minneapolis reported it was the guard. They also reported that the person in the video stated it was the national guard in a tweet.
The original statement didn't list the Minneapolis police.

I agree and the weak liberal police chief was appointed by the weak liberal mayor.

"Just following orders?". That excuse holds no water.
Sure it does. You can not condemn every rank and file officer because of the admin and a few officers

And supporting the police does't mean knee-jerk approval of every dumb move they make
No it doesn't, but it also doesn't mean blaming entire departments or all cops for a few idiots or shitty people.

These Minneapolis morons have caused a major national crisis - at the worst possible time.
Minneapolis PD is hardly to blame for all that is going on right now. There are a lot of other factors at play. They are however a horribly trained and even worse run organization.
It's also possible that they weren't the ones who shot the teenage rebels. State Police, County, and a few other agencies were involved in last nights offensive.

Rioting is a form of protesting. Surely you had to have completed enough school to know that.

Weird. Tanya is a single 38-year-old female. I thought those were her kids.

Dude! You're right!
That totally means she deserves to be shot for not licking the boots of her masters.

Um..only in the loosest since of the word protest. peacefully Protesting is a constitutionally protected right. Rioting and destruction of property is a crime.

If true, even worse.

I think you miss the point of protests. If you're protesting people in the manner they decided, that's not a protest.

Absolutely. Protesting is not inherently virtuous. I hope you weren't under the impression I thought as much.

So you don't understand the constitution. Got it.

local news report
cliff notes-
-state police, local police, national guard enforcing the curfew
-curfew means you must be inside your home
-people in various neighborhoods were arming themselves and waiting on their porches in case the protest spilled into their neighborhoods.

Do you mind if I ask you how you'd protest your rights being trampled on? If a government agent came to your door with lethal force demanding you give up your firearms. Would you hand them over because protesting violently is not allowed by the constitution?

Who in Omaha had their rights trampled on?

And shooting "paint canisters". That's interesting

That does not matter at all for the hypothetical I'm trying to get answered. Just assessing how far he's ready to go to defend his rights, or if he'd give them up willingly because the law says violence is wrong.
