Fine. Name the exact part of his upper body that was being knelt on and I'll only use that from now on.

Posting here for your "good information" question since that other one got locked

1. EMS testified airway was patent and no issues intubating due to trauma - correlates with ME report

2. Floyd's GF testified he overdosed and was hospitalized months earlier with the same symptoms (foaming at the mouth, etc)

3. Entire MPD has testified Chauvin broke protocol

probably the top findings at this point, at least in my opinion. Someone else can add, obviously

What i saw in the video was knee on the back, and side of neck. Either way, it was weight on someone's upper respirator area. Go try and breath when someone's body weight is on you. Especially if you are amped up, or in Floyds case on his way into respiratory/cardiac distress.

Sure, his back. I'll even go as far to say my guess is it was not even chauvins hold that killed him. It was the junior officer that was squarely on his back.

But that doesn't meet your emotional needs im sure.

I asked this in the whacked thread.

When was EMS called/dispatched? Was it after GF complained of breathing issues, and collapsed wile cuffed with the first officers who pulled him out of his car. Or were they called after Chauvin and Co. got involved?

You sure have a lot of assumptions - seemingly based on pure emotion.

What should the takeaway from that be? (also, why was the other one locked?)

Is anyone doubting the overdose story? To me, that has the potential to weaken the defense.

And is this a pre-req to convicting under the statute, or just "other evidence"?

Oh...so to cause undue prejudice and inflame the jury?

This is an appellate lawyer's dream.

The prosecution can sleep walk through this trial and get a conviction. They juror's are probably worried about getting doxed/assaulted/ruined/killed after the trial if they don't convict. They are so worried about that, they will convict if there was audio of GF saying he swallowed the dope, and that the cop isn't killing him.

Nah I watched the videos. People in neck holds typically can't repeatedly lift their heads up.

Sure whatever. Is the defense not allowed to bring up Floyd's past/character?

Not when you and everyone else is muh neck knee

Looks like trying to establish fault with Chauvin and not the PD. Can't really convict Chauvin if he was following protocol to the letter.

Does it surprise you that there are limits on the admissibility of such evidence? We want to convict people on whether they actually committed the crime they are charged with, not whether they are the "kind of guy" who might have.

The police chief admitted his knee was on Floyd's shoulder, not kneck. This is not the first big win for the defense.
