I ain’t trying to sweat you or anyone else down in this particular situation. You’re perfectly justified in your feelings about Ukraine. But my man you have to make yourself look further through the trees, at the bigger picture.

If you think you’re entitled to know everything there is to know in this instance, then that precedent should apply across the board, including the instances wherein top security clearance situations are mandatory for the surveillance and resulting intelligence be quality enough to be effective in foiling something that none of us want to see. See a previous post of mine that references the real potential for terroristic activities that would (God forbid “will”) turn some one’s loved family member(s) into a pink cloud. Vaporized. Incinerated. Or you end up hearing that a loved one had to make that incomprehensible, conscious decision to take a step out of a window - from the 90th floor. Let’s try to reserve some belief in these things actually being in your best interest every now and then.

I was making a counterpoint to your assertion that you should have access to the same intelligence or “highest security clearance information” that Johnson does or would, considering yours and my tax dollars are involved. I simply made the point that that probably shouldn’t be the case because there ARE places where our tax dollars are expended where it IS in mine and yours and our loved ones best interest - and old fashioned top secret, top security clearance information would be quite counterproductive. If I misinterpreted you, then my apologies.

The big question in my mind, who is providing intelligence of a threat?? We cannot trust our OWN government so how the hell can they be trusted to inform decision makers with truthful information??

the government told you the vaccine was safe and effective, that iraq had weapons of mass destruction and that we had to fight muh war on terror ove there so we wouldn't fight them over here. did they also tell you that there sister was a virgin they swear?
