I'd take one of them over 1000 Larry Summers.
Some union baw with a 10th grade education.
No wonder this country is fricked.
Street level Americans have never run the nation, it's been nearly 100% Ivy League grads running most major institutions .........and look at the BS Trump is trying to fix.

Yeah, "intellectuals" have a pretty bad track record of running our nation.

And we have one of the highest standards of living with more disposable income than any others.
In fact, MAGA baws are bragging today they are so rich that these tariffs will be unnoticed, while simultaneously crying about getting fricked by shothole nations.

Is this where you pretend long-term tariffs are the same as what we all know Trump is doing?
We don't know what Trump is doing. This is your typical MAGA moving target where the goal switches among a number of options with no set policy.
One thread it's bringing back jobs, in the other it's lowering tariffs from other countries, in others its revenue, etc. None really jive with the irrational numbers he used yesterday, but I'm sure you'll rely on more policy malleability to avoid taking a stance.

So now UAW members are experts on the economy?
No, we should favor the slave labor in Mexico and China for our economy. For being bleeding heart liberals, you fricks don’t care too much about people.

If I wanted to take a massive pay cut and go be a grunt for the UAW I'm sure I could
I have the luxury of making money with my brain so I choose to not throw that blessing away

Man differing opinions the huge manatee of it all!

Their benefit packages are incredible though.
I wouldn't call them incredible. You do know they are not on the same contracts they had 20 years ago, right?
And also, and I say this as someone that despises the UAW, getting a workforce that will do repetitive tasks all day long, often 6 days a week when running OT, isn't that easy.
No, you don't need to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but doing the same thing every day isn't a job people are knocking down doors for.

The entire world knows what Trump is doing. No one is confused.

What those UAW pricks fail to mention is while their plants were closing, non union auto plants were being constructed by manufacturers unencumbered by the UAW and it's ridiculous pay and health care packages.
I don’t understand when conservatives became the party for dumbass unions. These MFers are a massive part of the problem. They don’t want what’s best for America either.

People are less concerned about the tariffs than they are the amateur way they were rolled out.
There is no plan. He's winging it.

If you think putting a car together in an assembly plant is complicated you are dumber than I thought.
Which is pretty dumb.

According to Google, the UAW has stopped work at GM plants 21 times since 1994

The only ppl concerned is you and Trump haters. Outside of this message board ppl aren’t melting down like you over tariffs except for the loony left. Seek help

You think auto workers build cars..

All the hard work is automated. The baws tighten a few bolts and wash the dust off the dash.
