Trump could get within 1% there but having no GOP candidate who could compete with DFL means they would have trouble realizing that seat.

Will be tough in this environment. Republicans will probably lose the House in 2018 and holding the Senate will probably be tougher than it appears.
Bachmann is a great choice if we want to lose by 30 points. The best option is probably Coleman or Tim Pawlenty.

Minnesota has voted Democrat in almost every election since 1930’s. It’s a Democrat stronghold and Franken is very much in the mainstream politically up there.
