White Flight happened because the government incentivized mass amounts of black people to move into the cities and people didn’t want to live in crime infested areas where a massive influx of poor people would drag the economy down. Retrospectively, it turns out that decision to move out of the inner cities was a good one. So many of our once proud American cities now look like third world countries.
