This is great. Cohen just gave trump one of his best defenses as to why it’s not a campaign finance violation: “he told me to lie to his wife”

Seems quite personal to me.

Also his insistence that his guilty plea and the pleadings in SDNY are proof of a crime already proved is hilarious.

payment from the American people before they voted a few days later.

As Exhibit 5 to my testimony shows, I am providing a copy of a $35,000
check that President Trump personally signed from his personal bank
account on August 1, 2017 – when he was President of the United States –
pursuant to the cover-up, which was the basis of my guilty plea, to
reimburse me – the word used by Mr. Trump’s TV lawyer -- for the illegal
hush money I paid on his behalf. This $35,000 check was one of 11 check
installments that was paid throughout the year – while he was President.

The President of the United States thus wrote a personal check for the
payment of hush money as part of a criminal scheme to violate campaign
finance laws. You can find the details of that scheme, directed by Mr.
Trump, in the pleadings in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of
New York.

I don’t know. He seems pretty credible. Lots of people communicate in the exact same way that Cohen is describing here. Jody Foster told that dork to shoot Reagan in the same way Trump told Cohen to lie. Allah told the 9/11 terrorists to commit jihad on the World Trade Center in much the same way. Trump even uses this method of communication when he’s instructing the KKK.

You see, this is directly opposed to the way Obama chose to communicate that we would be able to keep our health insurance plan and our doctor. Obama didn’t hint at anything. He just came right out and lied to our face
