Does a legal business transport highly illegal drugs?!?! Hmmmm?!?!

A business that was legally formed can transport illegal drugs. I'm not sure whether the business was legally formed or not

Not sure about Frenchies and rednecks, but I would think there have been some Italians and Irishmen arrested with a ton of drugs before.

How many people could a still of poorly made moonshine kill?

You can thank big pharmaceutical and the war on drugs for this drug

You can thank inducement via massive pool of billions from government involvement in healthcare. Free market solutions would not have results like these and our current mess is thanks due in large part to companies and doctors maximizing the system in which they work and compete.

No good deed goes unpunished.

The only comment regarding his nationality comes from the tweet by the reporter (I guess) Kevin Lewis. Not even the doc he posted says anything about nationality. He is even asked by another person is Popovich is illegal, that the name doesn't sound hispanic and he didn't respond. I wouldn't put it past ole Kevin to be typing out his arse...

100% sure they would have mentioned he was illegal if he was as well. But you have plausible deniability I guess.

Retard, those drugs are LEGAL.

I get that the opiate/pharma industry is a crock of shite, but those drugs aren't on the books as illegal to prescribe.

That's actually a pretty slim/retarded distinction by which we decide life or death. Let's not forget drugs don't kill people; people who overdose on drugs kill people.

Yeah, Kevin made an assumption but decided to hedge.

You know that isn't true. Most news outlets would do their best to bury it if the driver were illegal, and they would never use that word "illegal" they would use "undocumented"

Your percentage is, in this case, not entirely correct. Montgomery County, where the arrest took place, is, for all intents and purposes, a sanctuary county. Seldom is any reference made to immigration status in these types of articles and, when it IS made, you really have to read between the lines. MC does not cooperate with federal authorities on matters of immigration status.

It’s crucial that every negative story involving Latinos be posted immediately for a circle jerk discussion

no kidding.

What this guy did was terrible but....
a) we don't know if he is a mexican, it says he is from san diego
b) fentanyl is nasty stuff but LEO always exaggerates on value and impact of what is found.

Noooooo, if you read the article CAREFULLY, it does say he's a Mexican NATIVE.
