Messaging Matters

this board has been since election night. The red wave was just hot air and this board has been trying to rationalize it since. Of course the go to message is election fraud. I really dont think this board understand the hate that 50% of americans have for Trump. Jan 6th had a huge effect on how Americans see the GOP. Republicans had a chance to distance themselves from the MAGA wing of the republican party but instead they doubled down. Abortion was a huge mid term issue. Instead of working with the dems on a national abortion bill to keep dem controled states from going full califorina they didnt. Then just like the Dems said they would southern red states went to an almost an out right abortion ban with no exceptions. That really rallied the Dems. They paraded around taking a victory lap on something the 'moral majority" had been trying to do for 40yrs. After the 2012 election loss i think the republicans where trying to soften some stances then Trump rode down and literlly blew the party apart. Trump is your problem, going after women with the abortion appeal is a giant problem. supporting Trump and his stoogies and stop the steal is a huge problem. Last when voting is made easier by mail in voting more people get to vote and guess what they vote DEM. It's been a well know fact since the 80's that when there is a lower voter turnout GOP does well. When turnout is high the DEMs do well. That should tell you all you need to know about GOP policy. The masses dont support it. i will await the raining down votes, being called a cuck, groomer and all the other terms this board uses.

My eyes.
But I've been saying for months there would only be a Red Whimper.
Dobbs and Trump fatigue tanked whatever momentum there was.

No way the messages in Nev, Penn and Arz favored the dems. Unless you are just 100% for open boarders, abortion until 5 years old and free crap. The dems offered NOTHING.

Interesting that the median income for the wealthiest states are higher in states considered Democrat. Funny how that works.

Hawkeye, have yourself a Cohiba and some sixty year single malt.
That analysis is totally correct. I'm a republican and have been trying to tell the trumpanzees the same thing since 2016.
It's like trying to talk about the renaissance with a cat.

The Dems ran John Fetterman and their message was “we want to kill babies.”
And the GOP has bad candidates and needs to work on their messaging…

Why on earth would I?
They do not even exist on the same plane of thought as me and my family.
They do not seem to care about values, safety, or financial security AT ALL.
Just feelings and having big govt tell them what to do and think.
What would you expect me to disuss with dems?
Hey mr dem, my retirement accounts are down 25% this year, this fricking sucks.
Dem: but what about jan 6th???1>??>
The local murder rate hit an all time high in our capitol city
Dem: But jan 6th!!!!
you people are absolute clowns.

I live in a town of less than three thousand people. It does come up over coffee at the local cafe occasionally.

Messaging Matters
Fetterman legitimately can't speak and Hobbs refused to debate and ran from adversarial questions. Messaging objectively doesn't matter.

you just proved my point, the republican brand was so toxic that fetterman won.

Depends what your definition of fraud is, so long as some unethical lawyer puts it on paper and it’s ratified, then it becomes legal. Just like killing babies is legal. Doesn’t mean it’s ethical, nor does it mean the perps want pay in the end, but for now, it’s legal.

Wow...you don't really believe the shite you posted; if so you're delusional.
Look at the direction of this country, it's called fraud.
They can't let the us see behind the curtain because that would change the game. Glad you like to see the country continue to go to shite.

It’s funny, I’ve been saying that the midterms would not be the red wave the republicans were expecting. I was a registered republican but I leaned pretty heavily libertarian. I ALWAYS voted republicans. After trump won the nomination I changed my registration to libertarian because I didn’t want to be associate with the trump republicans. When roe was overturned I went ahead and registered dem. I will probably be back to the republicans after they’ve regained their sanity, but not until then.
