It is baffling, but I have faith they will emerge from this stupor.

While "Get woke, go broke" does sometimes happen, I believe that we will see more and more cases where it won't matter.

They are purposefully making it hard to succeed as small business. Eventually there will just be the big players left who can afford to lose all conservative customers because they can offset it with global customers.

Many industries already pander to the global market over U.S. market.

As a personal nitpick, I hate how many U.S. brands of items or foods are made with better quality for overseas markets, while the U.S. gets the cheap crap version of the same products / services.

(Because U.S. is willing to take it, while other countries still have some standards)

I usually ignore those myopic rants you continually make on this platform but after glassing your post history you don’t post anywhere’s else but here?

So you insult the entire board in continuum yet it’s your only home...

Maybe Chicken needs to hold a one on one with you scrubby?

This board has attracted a subset of feelings-driven "conservatives." They react similarly to the screamers on the left. Rather than look a little more deeply into a subject than what is presented in a rag like the gateway pundit, they simply emote about the end of the world.

I'm calling bullshite. I am on my Merrill Lynch Investment accounts every single day and this is nowhere to be found and has never popped up once. I just performed several stock researches on Merrill Lynch, and zero of this crap shows up.

You get those ESG reports if the intent of your portfolio is investing based on ESG, but not if you aren't. It never materializes. This is for the "socially-conscious" only.

It’s very difficult to make money by using ML Services. Their fees are very high and their advise is usually very poor. I got rid of them years ago and have enjoyed great success in the market using a discount brokerage.

Literally the purpose of the software is to help clients pick ESG stocks according to their own preferences. It generates a page like the one shown in the ridiculous Gateway Pundit "article".

Sheesh. Can we please not have EVERYthing be a gottdamned conspiracy?

I don’t pick stocks based on their fricking ESG. I pick stocks based on their earnings potential. Whoever is picking stocks based on ESG deserves to have their money flushed down the toilet. fricking idiots.

I agree. That doesn't change the fact that trillions of dollars are going to end up with these ESG mandates.

It probably also means that your advisor isn't "rating you" - since you've shown no interest in ESG.

Like I said, the best ESG investment is in Big Oil - I might literally be the only person making that claim, so good luck to me in getting that view advanced.

I notice every, single, day that big Government, Corporations and Social Media are controlling the narrative.

And we sit back and let it happen.

I would say the republican party actively cheered on corporations "controlling the narrative" for decades.
