I noticed this BS yesterday when I was on my Fidelity website too.

Does it feel like Apple is going broke? What about Amazon? Walmart? Nike?

It is baffling, but I have faith they will emerge from this stupor.

There is a small chance that people with an entrepreneurial spirit may find a niche to offer banking services to the rest of us, and I believe we are mighty (demographically). It would take big balls to buck the trend, but there is money that could be made.

Businesses like gun manufacturers will have to go somewhere eventually.

I expect to see a complete division in businesses. One for the woke culture and one for the rest of us. The day will soon come where we are not welcome to patronize certain places. It already happens at Starbucks and such. The banking industry is already refusing to work with Trump so I assume it will trickle down to the little guy very soon.

I look at it as an opportunity not a restriction. I don’t want my money going to any woke cause. I don’t care what it is. I’d rather adjust my spending habits to prevent one cent from going to that filth.

Because the Marxist’s control Washington, businesses won’t be able to opt out of woke culture. They’ll get destroyed and run out of business.

And the Marxists are probably two steps ahead with a plan to take such upstarts out. While we go on about our day to day business they are always scheming.

I agree and see scoring people like this is frightening. Not sure by bigscrub is defending it.

Good grief. They aren't "scoring people". Rather, CLIENTS are insisting on knowing how ESG or non-ESG their investment portfolios are. They are scoring portfolios - and then allowing clients to pick and choose how they want to change their investments based on their own causes.

I'm not. I think it's the height of stupidity. It is nearly impossible to clearly define what is "ESG" (e.g. I would argue that Big Oil is the single greatest ESG investment that can be made, as cheap(er) energy is what will allow billions of poor people around the world to thrive (just as we benefited from the same thing.) But you'll find lots of ESG is of the "oh, we're already rich in a rich country, so now we have the luxury of saying people don't need things like meat and oil" variety.

But it's a long-term fad, if that's a thing.

Ive heard of this phenomenon. It’s completely asinine. I want my investments to make me money, as long as it’s not illegal idgaf what they do as long as they show me a good return.

I personally apply moral filters to what stocks I'm willing to buy. There are enough (financially) good stocks for it to work.

But ESG scores are nonsense and I ignore them. I might start using them to find better buying opportunities created by Karens.

Time for every Patriot to withdraw every cent from the financial system and go 100% into cash and hard assets.
See how long this bullshite lasts before the entire system collapses

This board has attracted a subset of feelings-driven "conservatives." They react similarly to the screamers on the left. Rather than look a little more deeply into a subject than what is presented in a rag like the gateway pundit, they simply emote about the end of the world.

As an independent financial advisor, I would have encouraged you to move it because of self-dealing and overpriced fees.

But at this point, you're just aiding and abetting the people who don't give a s*** about you. They only look at you as a profit Center.

You are in the Matrix, and you're just fuel for the Machines

Why would you speak truth to reality when it is far easier to engage your inferiority and victimhood complexes.

The left is winning because feelings don't care about your facts.

So FB an track the websites you visit outside of their application? I haven’t used it in years, but I still have an account. I will delete it if that’s the case.

Better company with lower fees for someone who wants to self-direct...but many advisors, including myself, use them for client portfolios as well.

However, if you think vanguard is any less liberal or entrenched then the Investment Banks, you're only kidding yourself

All investment and finance capital is ultra left, nepotistic, and operates with a de facto monopoly authority.

Maybe. It’s human to have a preliminary reaction to incomplete facts. But it’s liberal to have a reaction and maintain it despite facts.
