From a money perspective you are correct. But once you have money, it becomes a pride thing and no doubt hers is severely damaged.

Conan is better than all the others combined. Colbert is especially terrible.

yeah he's a huge fricking exception and not the rule.
he took the break to shake the more youthful and less serious image he had so that he could appeal to a male audience as well. you leave the movie business for a few years, don't count on your return being a a Scorsese and a Spielberg movie released 5 days apart during the holidays with little to no competition
doesn't hurt that he was in the biggest movie ever. in between 98 and 2002 he did "the beach" and i think that was it.

She was still legally under contract with Fox so she couldn't formally sign a contract with NBC or make any TV appearances until she was released from her Fox contract.

ummm.... i wasn't trying to use Leo as some sort of example.... i just disagree with you that she's fricking up her career.... she's too pretty, too smart, and appeals to many on both sides the arena to fail...

Oh, c'mon. She is a good looking, but not so good looking that she will succeed at NBC just on her looks.

she's not fricking it up in the sense she's going to be working at a toll booth.
but being off the air for 4 months now.
the trump feud and the ailes thing put her over with a larger audience beyond fox news and that's it. now the interest in those stories are gone. i'm not saying she made the decision but if you want a big debut, the sooner the better.

if i'm fox, I use the interest for ratings. squeeze what I have left...you're not competing with network television. was it a frick you and they didn't want her talking about it on air...or did she decide to do it and avoid a howard stern situation?
