She's restored a sense of decency after that shitshow
Oh bullshite. All she did was not screw a staffer. Her administration has been nothing but ribbon cuttings and periodic carefully crafted media outings while her establishment staffers run the state with autopen. Meanwhile she called a special session to jam through a tax hike, went with COVID restrictions, and blocked efforts to expand I-65 in favor of West Alabama backroads.
She’s been a horrible governor buts it’s masked by her “MeeMaw” facade. Anyone that has seen her in public knows that she’s not running anything and is worse shape than Biden ever was.

Marshall should be filing the brief with SCOTUS last night to say the ruling should be dropped with this news.
Then suspend the primary and then call the special session.
The problem is she put out a ChatGPT statement that basically showed she couldn’t give a shite. She won’t even speak publicly about this because she can’t. It’s just press releases from her chief of staff.
Announced on local (BHM) news minutes ago, (AL-AG) Marshall has already stated they will move forward.
I remain hopeful.

I see her at a lot of government/corporate events. There are times where she disappears to the bathroom or a private room for extended periods of time and it’s clearly health related. Her staff shields her and then she comes out, does a little Junior Miss wave, reads a piece of paper, then shuffles off without talking to anyone.
She isn’t fit for office and if she isn’t going to lead on this issue and just hide behind a tepid press release without even a public media event over it, then she should retire and let Ainsworth finish her term.
She hasn’t had a PC since Covid. Thats an indictment on the media, the voters, and the scaffolding around her.

Was it a recap of his statement last night or a new development detailing how they’re going to do it?

I'm not sure what you mean by this. ...sorry.
Are you saying they're saying they're going to call a special session?

It definitely started with the recap of yesterday's statement, but it sounded like there is going to be another press release / conference announcement.

He should be all over this. At minimum this gets him in the runoff and if actually gets it over the goal line, he could use it to win the Senate race. Has to be hyper aggressive though.

Looks like we found Kay’s gin provider.

Wes Allen has filed a motion with the USSC. Only one running for a statewide office so far that has done something more than giving this lip service. Good for him. Marshall really dropped the ball not acting today.
