I heard a new term being used this morning on NPR, for something that to my knowledge, has always been known as gender reassignment surgery. Gender confirmation surgery was the new phrase being used - has anyone else heard this before?
Language has always interested me, so maybe I pay more attention to it than some.
How do phrases like this morph and evolve? I get what they are trying to do. It's subtle, but very real. Any other examples from the board?
