One of Rush Limbaughs biggest points is don't let the left redefine words to shift the narrative. They don't have any intention of representing their true intentions, and they will always manipulate even commonly accepted words to alter the perspective.

Another is don't let them argue based on a false premise. (ie only whites can be racist)

What's interesting to me with this change of phrase is the change in perspective.

The phrase Gender Confirmation Surgery is aspirational. I'm guessing the patient hopes like hell they're making the right decision (irrevocably trading in their junk) but it's an opinion that the persons gender is actually being "confirmed". It's probably more accurately characterized as a highly-informed decision at that time but, the mere act of surgery does not confirm the gender of the individual.

Gender Reassignment Surgery is simply a statement of what actually happens, a statement of fact if you will. It describes the surgery, not the outcome.

You can observe the same change in our media over the last number of decades, fact and observation have been replaced by opinion and aspiration. We continue to drift away from the rational and toward "my truth".
