Well, getting beyond the superficial, what's wrong with him? He's lifted his leg all over the economy and it's doing better than under Obama. ISIS is kaput. NAFTA was replaced by a more USA favorable deal and the same is going for China. You're still getting all of your handouts. What's the rub?

Is it embarrassing?

We could get into specifics but we would, at best, end up agreeing to disagree. The economy piece, in particular, is subject to debate. I don't really put too much emphasis on military matters and presidents - but like I said, I think Trump has done a good enough job on some of the most pressing foreign affairs issues. I don't know enough about trade to really comment but people I respect that do would have something to say about that.

Then he's not "awful." You're letting your disdain for his public persona override his actual results.

I'd be lying if I said the way he handles himself socially didn't bias my perception of him. It does. I also just fundamentally disagree with him on a number of things that would be fruitless to list here. I posted a link and got shite on by the "hurrdurr yer a hillary voter" crowd. I've got better things to waste time on.

Glad you're enjoying his presidency, though.

I am and you should be too. Short of some personal catastrophe, I can't imagine you aren't better off now than 2016.

I'm pretty critical of his juvenile tweets but I also realize his personality flaws prevent him from playing the DC game and doing a poor job. His narcissism demands he does well. And, he has in so many areas. He loves the strokes from his supporters, the average American. Therefore he'll do what he can to avoid selling them out.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people like that. That's why I wish he'd tone down some of the twitter shite.

Remains to be seen. Thanks for being mostly cordial, though.

Much better than your elementary school grammar lessons worked for you, apparently.

Did you actually attend Auburn, by the way?

This impeachment process is an absolute waste of time. So, no. I do find it interesting as a bizarre historical event, though.

How fricking obtuse do you have to be to believe I dont know how to use apostrophes. I choose not to use them because theyre a waste of time in this forum

About as obtuse as you must be for believing you know anything about me. You keep making baseless smears - I'm just returning the favor. Keep in mind that you needlessly inserted yourself into this because you had some weird motivation to attack me.

"He basically has already. You’re part of it."

this snide retort is the root cause of the barrage.

I was legitimately suggesting that Trump has made himself a new version of the Republican Party (i.e., not of the McCain/Romney type) and that poster was a part of it, obviously. Hence the upvotes, I’d imagine.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I’m done with the back and forth. I’m sure we have more in common than we differ. Have a good one.

Schiff and Dems reportedly saying they don’t care and will welcome any and all witnesses. So be it then.

Good bump. I wasn't sure how anyone could have believed there would be witnesses called.

I agree, but no matter what he does from this point forward, those people will continue their abject hatred of him (TDS). They have had it since the night he was elected, and it is an absolute constant with them.

You really got me, bro. Guess I’ll retract those articles in the AP and WSJ I wrote.
