He should be indicted and lose his house over this. Michael Flynn says hi

Ex-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe admitted Saturday he was “confused and distracted” when he talked to investigators about alleged misconduct during a 2016 investigation of the Trump campaign.
McCabe “lacked candor” in that interview, Attorney General Jeff Sessions determined, and fired him March 16, two days before he would have been eligible for a pension.

“Some of my answers were not fully accurate,” McCabe admitted in a Washington Post op-ed, but insisted, “I did not knowingly mislead or lie to investigators.

I wonder if he or Mueller has EVER accepted that excuse from a target of one of their investigations?
Besides. Just LOL. One of the top people in the FBI can't prepare properly to be interviewed?
Let's just pretend that's true for a second. If a trained professional whose job it is to interview people and understand how to trap them into telling truths they don't want to tell............can't do an interview with "accidentally lying or making an error"..........then what fricking chance does some random Joe burger flipper type have?
Ya know. The kind they put in jail all the time while using evidence from interviews?

Fine the hell out of him and lock him up.
Maybe send him to The Freedom Wall labor camp.

I can't wait until Flynn's case is dropped

Boy these crooked bastards are milking this "intent" bullshite for all its worth.
I didn't "intend" to lie so it's not really a lie.

How does one even get confused into saying something untrue?
I can see how one could be confused into accidentally spilling truth he didn't want to spill, but spilling an untruth?
You literally have to make up an untruth.

He couldn't keep up with his lies anymore. Now he is admitting he lied to investigators because he KNOWS his arse is toast once the IG report is released.
And he isn't the only one

I will say that I'm pretty surprised he's publicly admitting some of his statements during interviews were false.
That seems like something you'd prefer to not openly admit if there's even a remote possibility of it being a legal issue for you

I don’t believe his excuse for one second. He was supposed to be an experienced professional investigator and he says he was confused.

By the way.It would be nice if interviewers and the media in general would stop letting this kind of language slide.
"not fully accurate" and "lacked candor" = "they were bull shite" = "they were false" "I lied".
fricking bull shite crafted language should be hammered every time it's attempted.

Shows how easy it is to make an error, even for an experienced veteran like him.
Precisely why lawyers tell clients not to talk and precisely why Trump should not grant an interview with Mueller.

I lied and misled but Trump is a horrible meanie for saying I lied and misled!!

Yup.
Right to remain silent.
Exercise it.

Oh Andy. You were just extremely careless. We understand. Thank you for introducing your own lame arse excuse into our national lexicon.

Ah the old ‘intent’ excuse
Worked for Hillary.

Wasn't he one of the interviewers on the Flynn interview?
