Nah, he can at least speak intelligently. He has appeal with dems who don’t want their party to be taken over by the crazies, and he’s almost the only one who can make that claim.

The Democratic Party is objectively insane. But as far as evidence of that goes, mayor Pete ranks around number 9 of the 10 highest polling dems.

Did I say only political experience?

Pete has never led ANY major organization whatsoever.........political or non.

Hell, South Bend's annual budget is less than Trump's net worth alone..........

Miramar, FL has a larger population and its mayor is also a declared candidare, but he didn't get a national TV broadcast for his announcement.

I think there is a pretty good chance he will be on the ticket in the VP slot.

Whatever. If he had more experience, you would just label him as a swamp creature.

Name your ideal opposing candidate.

It does seem like swamp creature and blank slate are the only options democrats have put forth in recent years.

I'd be very happy if Buttplug was their nominee. Minorities won't vote for him.

Saying that, he'll get killed in the southern states in the primaries.

Trump's "business" is a room full of lawyers and a few poorly performing golf clubs. When he had a business in retail and real estate he ran it into billions of debt. Then the banks forced him to convert Mar A Lago into a golf club.

How did decades of kowtowing to Red China, making disadvantageous trade deals, and meddling in the Middle East work for us?

The gays in the media, Hollywood, entertainment, and silicon valley axis of evil have given him a bunch of money. The dems may vote for him using the same first black president reasoning they did when they took their last dump on America.

there's clearly some ground between swamp creature and small town mayor with no significant experience other than that
