To be fair any true AG that’s a threat to the swamp won’t be confirmed by the Senate and Trump won’t get any recess appointments The only shot is a candidate who is quietly against the swamp but appears palatable to the establishment. Not sure that candidate with the necessary qualifications even exists

Maybe! Or maybe he could just resign and let Vance take over.

Exactly. This is ultimately why Trumpism will fail.

You can no more reform the Potomac Beltway than you can “reform” a malignant cancer. This is why if Liberty is to continue in this once great nation, it will arise in subsidiary, nullification and even secession movements in the individual states.

The current crisis continues until enough supporters of the principles of limited government come to this inescapable conclusion. As it stands, we can expect things to get much worse before they get better.

Because Paxton is going to the US Senate.

This might be a play for Trump. Trump endorses Paxton, Paxton gets AG as a result. Of course there is a risk however (small) that Cornyn fights for his life against the fake abortion of a Christian.

Might as well just let the swamp directly nominate the AG, instead of compromising them later.

LG will select the next AG

Drop the requirement that it be an attorney, i.e. get someone honest.

You are still butthurt about Garland and the Supreme Court.

The problem is that he probably listened to someone else for those picks...

He should let someone else nominate pretty much all of them. He hit home runs with SOS and Treasury. The rest are questionable.

Maybe the senate shouldn't blackball all his picks that might threaten the establishment.

Another problem is he has to get someone "experienced", meaning "compromised", because he cannot appoint anybody not infected because they are not "experienced".

odd thing is Justice Jumanji shows that talent and experience are not a requirement for any position is out "justice" system.
