It's stupid shite like this statement that has totally destroyed the media's credibility and eroded our trust in their reporting.

Using the 22 in Afghan is pointless

the 15,16,18 and A-10 are more than capable.

Using most of those is pointless too. We could do it cheaper and just as if not more effectively if we just bought some Cessna and strapped some bombs and missiles to them.

Hmmmm maybe they are not more than capable. Maybe the CIA had a plan to shoot one of them down to make it look like a blunder.

Just thinking out loud.

On a board that excels in the absurd and ridiculous, the ROE threads take the cake.

Why?? There have been some really f'd up rules of engagement in the past admins. When you have to get a JAG lawyer to green-light an airstrike, you know you have reached the ultimate in bureaucracy.

Why? I too question the use of our $150 million stealth fighters to bomb poppy fields in a country that doesn't even know what a radar is.

Why not use the best thing available? Alabama could have beaten Mercer by 4 TDs with a 3rd string QB, but they started with Hurts anyway.

No bigger critic of Trump than me, but dont blame him for this clusterfrick.

New Pres, doesnt know shite about the military, wants to come off as a tough guy.

So, the Joint Chiefs dust of the 2006 Afghanistan playbook and pitch it as a bold and decisive move, the only two military men (McMasters and Kelley) around Trump give it a rousing thumbs up.

When it all boils down, the attempt to squash opium in Afghanistan will be one of the bigger frick ups in policy... While it does fund the economy of the Taliban, it was also the basis for the entire economy of Afghanistan and poppies were traded as currency on the individual level...

Maybe they should try growing something other than drugs. Until they do that, frick 'em.
