Gaetz wanted McCarthy to scuttle an ethics investigation, McCarthy did not want to step in and do it. So Gaetz filed a motion to vacate...Johnson is making sure that it gets dropped. Thus Gaetz does not care overall what Johnson does.

Johnson has done the same thing in terms of actions that McCarthy did....probably worse from the Freedom Caucus standpoint and Gaetz did not move to vacate him. So if that's evidence of Santa....then yes.
