Fun fact this was on my list of crazy ways Newsom could be made president.
1. Angry MAGA forces speaker to step down.
2. Newsom is elected Senate president pro tem.
3. Biden and Kamala resign.
4. Due to succession and a vacant speaker, Newsom becomes president.
