Its been a month.
Not a year. Not even a half year. All while trying to pry the papers out of the fingers of lifetime employees who refuse to surrender anything without compulsion.
There was never a possible 'flood' to release to begin with-- there is an actual responsibility, for example, to make sure that if there are offshoot investigations that were suppressed during the last administration, to not compromise information that could lead to criminal prosecutions or now belatedly started investigations.
The flow starting is what matters. That's how you eventually get the information out to the public.

Never forget it was Robert Maxwell who sold out Mordechai Vanunu, who was lured to Italy, kidnapped, tried in secret and imprisoned for 18 years. For what crime? Then why did she tout having the files on her desk last week? Why use social media influencers using the exact same provided verbiage to “release” the files. This was disingenuous at best, flat out theatrics at worse.
If it’s true that SDNY is holding the information, don’t tell the world you have the files and do tell the world you have a rogue office and then arrest those MFers.
