Exactly. Mtg called him and others out explicitly on that for being individuals while the other party sticks together

So, Fire Johnson.

Who do you replace him with?

Give it a week. Massie will back Johnson just like he backed McCarthy. Because there is the unknown. The unknown is "who is the replacement".

Right. You can only stack bodies so long before admitting the issue isnt solely on the position.

This house will never elect someone that will do the right things.

Johnson had a chance, but he cowered.

No shite. That isn’t what I said was happening. I’m suggesting he steps up since he always seems to think he does it right.

Because the system is broken. To do the "right things: means not getting re-elected.

Running on cutting government wins elections, but cutting government loses re-elections.

What needs to happen is a leader like Javier Milei who can talk to people about economics, understands economics and can communicate in a way that adults can comprehend,

The population has no clue whey deficit spending is bad. shite, most of MAGA defended it over Trumps years.

Until the people find leadership that can tell them why deficits hurt, they'll vote for deficits and every leader will flail.

That is right. Probably because he knew getting rid of McCarthy, at that time, would not improve things.
Demonstrably worse. The majority is smaller. And spending is up $500 million over the deal that got McCarty run off. Great job Gaetz and Democrats!

Why dont yall go third party instead of hijacking the Republicans?
Been asking this question for months. “We’re here to destroy the GOP”. At the same time “why won’t the GOP help us?!”

Congress enjoys a 93+% re-election rate. And virtually no one wants spending cut. Blame congress all you want but voters are the real problem.

Everything will always fail when folks’ expectations are set at “either satisfy every demand on my list or you’re out.” I’d love to know the exact point at which so many people, seemingly in unison, erased the notions of negotiation and compromise from their vocabulary and in their place adopted the notion of absolute demand of full satisfaction - or nothing.

Johnson could have brought a stripped down bill to keep the government funded.

And it wouldn’t have passed, as I also told you yesterday.

And the Dems would have owned shutting down the government, as I told you yesterday.

You, momentoftruth, Marjorie Taylor-Green, and random Twitter blue checks are literally the only people on the planet who think that would have been the narrative.

Have you not been paying to attention for the past, I don’t know, four decades or so?

You’re living in a fantasy world where the media isn’t 99% Democrat.

Absolutely not

They would have spun it like they always do because we have no Republican leadership.

The party is just adrift at the whim of voters who say one thing, and do the other.
