The money is a piece of the puzzle. The rot needs to be removed.

Stay with me. Yes, a lot of federal employees need to be fired, but much more important is cutting whole programs.

I know most people like to hate on federal employees, but there are some talented people that need to be used in more efficient ways.

Hey genius, who do you think pushes that massive amount of money in the federal budget?

Don’t really care what all else has been said in this thread just wanted to say that pie charts are the worst for graphical representation and donut charts are even worse

So if this is made by someone in government start the releases with them

You don’t know what number you need to get to on the programs until you get GovCo as efficient as possible. Also, your graph doesn’t include expenditures of agencies outside of salaries and benefits.

There are almost 3 million federal employees. Not sure that payroll number you reference is accurate.

I was thinking about things like this last night. Yes, I want illegals deported, and yes, I want healthier food. But both of those will raise food prices. Are Americans willing to take that hit as a trade off?

You're not looking at the full picture.

Millions deported - less demand, lower prices
Improved economy - greater purchasing power
Healthier workers - less sick time, greater GDP
Fewer chemicals in food - less input, more efficient production

If you only consider the effects that will raise prices, then yes, the logical conclusion is that it will raise prices. When you consider all the effects, there is more balance.

Plus, no one has claimed that it will instantly lower prices. It will likely raise prices some initially, but the purpose is to improve the long term outlook of the country. You can refuse to put antiseptic on your wound because it burns, but you'll just end up with an infection. People elected Trump to cure the disease, not to make you comfortable while it ravages the body.
