First, your chart shows a flat curve for two years before the recent drop, so no, it hasn’t been happening for years.

Second, your claim that “ Experts agree that deportations would not reduce housing prices, and could raise them” is an absurdity. Reducing demand does not cause prices to rise in any world. The article you link claimed that prices might rise because less homes would be built, thus creating a supply shortage. But that disregards basic econ 101 and the supply and demand curve. It is a blatant tendentious attempt to propagandize the issue.
