Martha Stewart and James Comey

Did anyone watch the Martha Stewart show on Netflix?
James Comey is a corrupt and a major political hack.
He took this lady down for "lying" with no crime committed. Sent her but to Federal Prison and branded her with a felony conviction.
She sold 45k in pharmaceutical stock before the bottom fell out and, despite 20+ others that did the same thing, was witch hunted by the DOJ. They couldn't develop an inside trading case, so he found another way to take her down.
I think he was trying to make a name for himself by taking down a middle aged woman who was a modern day success story. She wasn't a blue blood or part of the establishment and paid the price. I seriously wonder why congressional trades never get this kind of scrutiny.
Our justice system has been broken for a long time.

Process crimes should only be an enhancement to other charges, not charges by their lonesome.
General Flynn got railroaded over this shite because they claim he lacked candor in their notes. No recorded interview claiming what he said, per FBI policy.

There’s a lady that has a foundation and looks a lot like Martha that did the same thing. Comey let her off the hook though

Yeah, Stewart got a raw deal for doing the same things many politicians do regularly

I'll add this. Lying to police shouldn't be a crime if police can lie to a suspect to trip them up.

It is insane the amount of governmental insider trading and yet Martha went to jail. She did make a big mistake. If she had actually told the truth, she would have had no jail. This is why you NEVER talk to law enforcement.

In case Mr Comey is reading this board, I think he’s going a wonderful job…..
Why not go after every congressman if they are serious about insider trading? You could definitely make a name for yourself. Likely get killed in the process as well.

Totally agree... here are the facts that shock me.
1. She sold $45,000 in stock and was not charged with a crime.
2. Comey went Big Game hunting and got her for lying.
3. The government knee capped her to keep her from growing and becoming more prosperous.
4. She had to serve BS prison time.
I don't like her and think she is a narcissistic woman, but she didn't deserve what she got.
