Many media outlets are hyping the fact that Franken's accuser is not asking him to resign

Is that the standard now? Politicians only have to resign if their victims call on them to resign?

Curiously, I haven't seen the MSM applying this standard to conservative politicians.

They’re only asked to resign if they’re republicans. He’d be on his way out already if he had an R next to his name
