So all the diverse leaders now get that based on qualifications you aren't getting qualified diverse people.
Because the qualified ones work at a better company and the rest aren't any good.

But of those responding to the survey, 75% said reviving DEI policies is actually about the bottom line, or doing what is best for the company, rather than being rooted in values or social responsibility.
HR is rife with incompetence.
There has never been any evidence that racial diversity improves companies financials.
There has never been any evidence that alphabet people improve financials.
I'd bet that there is a study that women improve Financials though.

If private companies want to ride the DEI train that is their death…. Should never be uttered in government at all…

All it takes is opne emplyee to rat them out. They can't be that stupid to believe they can get away with it. However, maybe they are.

This is absolutely happening at Dow Jones companies where they are just renaming it and continuing with the original intent of the programs.
If the DOJ offers whistleblower rewards I can name two that would go down tomorrow.

No they didn't
Yes, i’m sure they did say that. However, they are lying. They know that what they are doing, is not beneficial to the bottom line, but they don’t care. They only care about their social standing among their peers.

As an Auburn fan, I hate Saban. But his “you can’t make chicken salad outta chicken shite” still holds up. Especially DEI.

or to some other real-world interest (like capital access via ESG)
Bingo. ESG scores linked to capital practically forced this movement.

What the hell kind of name is “Toothacre?”
There is more to the story…I can tell you that no good high-level manager in tech or manufacturing is longing for the days of forced racial hiring.

Thirty-three percent said it was harder to hire diverse talent. What did they think was going to happen when they eliminated all of their DEI initiatives?
Translation: women and minorities do not, and never had, the qualifications or merit for hiring/promotion.
