You can be a Christian or a democrat - you can’t be both anymore

I hate having to have so much faith in him to vote no on some of these proposals but I have no choice.

Can’t he be beat in 2024?

has he been publicly asked to join tGOP?

that is the one thing that might stop court packing and DC statehood

The filibuster is already dead for the courts and I don't think it applies to non budget items like statehood.

This is simply not true....I might not like the rinos but none of them support changing the senate rules.

Stop the fear mongering.

Opposite actually

Filibuster doesn’t apply for budget items

It applies for things like regulations and non-budget policy like gun control, immigration, climate

Are you serious? The Democrats don't need to pack the court, they have a 7-2 advantage.

We knew Roberts was a traitor, then Trumps three nominees turned out to be traitors (pussies) also.

The Democrats don't have to worry about the Supreme Court.

That's only if they use reconciliation as they are limited to 1 reconciliation bill per FY.

That's why when a party uses it for something else (must be spending related) the other party holds their feet to the fire when the budget comes up.

He would be a RINO, but I would love it if he would jump ship to the Republican Party. Chucky and Kumala's reaction would be worth the price of admission.

It’s not hard to get to him.
1.) carrot - here is all the money you could dream of such as roads, schools, health, military, etc
2.) stick - we can kill coal with rules and executive orders and send your people back to the stone age.

It is actually better to have him Caucus with the Democrats and vote with the Republicans when essential, rather than to have him change party.

Republicans could offer him the chairmanship of any committee he wants. Dems can't afford to lose him.

as his joining tGOP would give them committee chairs, please explain your reasoning
