So what you’re saying is that world leaders are so desperate to be in the presence of Trump that they’re willing to go through all the headache and financial burdens of developing them just to get the chance. Interesting thought process.

Talking, sure. A PR bonanza conferring legitimacy on KJU? Not seeing the upside

You just can't give the guy credit, can you?

The guy can literally disarm north fricking Korea and you still piss and moan. What a sad way to live.

Yeah, I’m with you here. I shite on Trump, but I try to be fair. This is absolutely great that Trump has gotten NK to the table more than any other President (I don’t count Carter’s post Presidency visit). Give the guy credit where credit is due.

It's almost like there's a difference between Russia and North Korea

How can they get nukes when the Russians have all of the uranium?

Can you imagine the security risks of a face to face meeting. Any person there could throw that shite in his face that killed Kim’s brother.

If Trump dies while there, then 30 million people are going to follow him to his grave within the day.

I would be interested to hear your alternatives that have less deleterious effects than sanctions (haven't worked) or war.

Your correct Iosh a meeting where NK comes out on top would be a temporary win for NK.

Eh, I really don't know about this.

I'm not opposed to talking but we would have to make sure this isn't a dog and pony show that's built to flatter us.

We did a good job of making sure North Korea got zero propaganda coups out of us when VP Pence went to the olympics but this is an actual meeting and that requires a lot more breaking down the pomp of two heads of state meeting.

Make the meeting as bare bones and informal as it can be, like the little blue house at the DMZ with only a couple official photographers.

I'm in favor of good diplomacy. Bilateral talks between ambassadors to try and find some common ground? Sure. A fricking Presidential visit as a reward for developing nuclear missiles and being general dicks? Pass.

This is a good point. I don’t want Kim to be able to jingle keys in front of Trump’s face by putting on a spectacular performance.
