It’s not murky at all. He is Syrian, worked in an Allie embassy, then somehow came to the US via Eygpt where he has ties with the Muslim Brotherhood. But you will find a way to support a terrorist sympathizer (at the minimum)

Not murky. Not a citizen. Green card holder; therefore, "permanent resident," which is a misleading term.
His green card was revoked by Secretary of State Rubio. Some old case law saying that green card holders cannot be removed for freedom of speech, but I think the Administration will prevail showing the revocation was for more than speech.
Will be deported.
