Since Meatball is all but eliminated at this point, Viv looks to be the runner up

Hard to believe anything you read. Dude has written 2 or 3 books that are conservative - agdainst Wokeism and such. He may be a liar and full of worm castings - but I'm not going to be lead by a bascially communist media. No one is Trump, no one is so tough to take the abuse. But if he were to shift radically from what he is preaching, then he is basically the anti-christ. I suspect all politicians - they lie for pwer, but I tend to trust Ramaswamy because of his full throated understanding and voicing of most conservative issues in live interviews and in the books he has written. The Primaries will weed him out if he's just a poser. One good thing about Republicans, we don't appint a candidate like the Dems, we actually let the voters choose.

Edit - what businessman hasn't donated to all sides of the political spectrum to protect their business from the hooligans in washington? Trump sure as hell has.

Trump said something nice about him one time. Hell before that all these same naysayers thought Vivek was great.

Here are some bits of tid from his appearance on the Shawn Ryan Show.

Says we are in a revolutionary moment, like 1775. Laments about the elitists that look down on the People.

Vivek says, “I stand on the side of revolution”, and that if you want incremental reform, rather than
revolution, then he is not the guy for you.

Pertaining to the amendment process originating with the People, Vivek says: “the method is constitutional, and I celebrate the spirit of people to take this on...be prepared for what comes out.”

So it's a revolution...as long as he can lead it, since he's way smarter than the People, and he is in fact one of those that looks down on the People as being unfit to chart their own path forward. He's all in favor of Constitutional amendments, so long as they originate with Congress (the group with the Ivy connections and the big brains that know lawyerin').

Rich, privileged, Ivy educated, and not even the slightest record of public service or self-sacrifice until now. Just wrote a couple of anti-woke books, then started an investment company to capitalize on anti-woke sentiment, in order to go head to head with BlackRock, and now parrots the candidate in the Republican Party that has the most support in the party and is seen as being orthogonal to woke ideology, which is tied to the establishment forces. Currently receives hundreds of millions in free advertising for the anti-woke messaging, which cannot help but be profitable for his investment company.

Want to know why Vivek seems so confident, loose, and happy on that stage and during interviews? It's because he goes out there knowing it's a profit for him. It's a zero risk proposition for him. He has no intention of winning anything. But, since he essentially strokes Trump's ego, if Trump wins, Vivek will assuredly get in the administration or at least secure some favorable positions from Trump that will help Vivek in the business world. In the mean time, getting out the anti-woke messaging is good for business.

You can practically see the deals getting done from here.

@ loogaroo

Trump gave to both political parties and since he was in New York, he hob nobbed and hung out with Democrats. He did what he needed to to do to succeed inbusinees. A pragmantist. I want a pragmatist as Preisdent, but it Trump or Ramaswamy.

He has stroked Trump's ego and has very similar policy ideas. And iirc Trump has not attacked or gone after Vivek in any way.

The playbook on Trump was written a long time ago. Everyone knows how to manipulate him. He's a slave to his own ego.

On the Shawn Ryan Show Vivek says Trump was an excellent president, best in the 21st century and he's not going to bash him.

I think a lot of people are wise to this act from Vivek.

Vivek believes in a 59%+ inheritance tax to redistribute wealth.

He is not conservative.

He claims it was a thought experiment. It's still silly though
