A Rispone loss tomorrow will be portrayed as a loss for Trump. Weak conservative voters around the country, who are likely unfamiliar with the nuances of the Kentucky and Louisiana Governor races, will conclude that Trump's support in the South is eroding. Enough of them will begin to question his chances of being reelected and this will be reflected in polling data. Sensing vulnerability, the RINOS in the Senate will abandon him. They'll use as their excuse that he's losing core support based on the Louisiana and Kentucky results. It doesn't matter to them that Trump is keeping these races competitive. To the media, it might as well be Trump himself running. Never underestimate the sway of the media over people whom you would think would know better.

Like you, these are all the paid shill accounts that go into a posting frenzy near election time and then disappear until the next one.

You mean to tell me that my JBE vote could be viewed as a vote against trump? If I would have known that, I would have cast my vote during the early voting period.

Actually I think you are correct. A Ripsone loss coming on the heels of KY and VA would be rough. It would be called an anti-Trump wave.

Not saying that would be the correct analysis, just how the talking heads would portray it.

Louisiana's gubernatorial election is definitely not a referendum on Trump, but the liberal media will say it is.

Exactly.

But that could have an effect on how other members of congress support Trump.
