Louisiana legislature adjourns early!

In the meantime they supposedly have 53 signed names on the petition and will deliver it to the governor this afternoon.
Sounds like hardball leverage to make sure JBE does not veto their bill.

There is ZERO about the republicans in this legislature that can be described as "hardball". This is just more pointless distraction with zero intent to actually do anything substantive. The La. Leg. is far and away the worst and most incompetent deliberative body in this country.

They were just there for the per diem and the free food from lobbyists. They accomplished nothing of value.
