I rarely need to talk to a politician but I have on two occasions needed some help with some things in DC and on both occasions I found her office to be very responsive and knowledgeable. Something I did not find with either of the Senator's offices or for that matter Scalise's office.
Nonetheless she is a politician.
Rispone was a horrible candidate but understood the state's problems. I would take Mike Foster back from the grave if I could. He didn't leave office popular with some republicans but he was the best governor of my lifetime. I would take a Roemer like governor with a little more "get things done" and less "listen to me".
