Come on now, we all know the Louisiana voting populace is more susceptible to sound policy arguments than appeals to business experience and the wildly popular in-state President.

Are you really that uninformed that you did not know that Rispon's team is being run by out of state consultants or do you just not know their names?
His comms director literally called the Louisiana jungle primary a "vetting process" after Rispone made the decision to go negative on Abraham.
Like it was party primary in Texas in August before the general election when it's really a 50.1 winner takes all primary with the democrat incumbent being a credible threat to do just that.
When he said that, my eyes rolled back so hard, I thought I was going blind. That just demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge and awareness.
And Rispone is paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for comments like that to the press.

Will you come out and support Ralph Abraham already? I can't take the fence post sitting for 3 more weeks.
Posted on 9/26/19 at 8:40 pm to The Boat
The only reason why I'm not in for Abraham just yet is that Rispone supports a constitutional convention, Abraham does not and that's something Louisiana sorely needs and that's not something I'm just going to vote against that without a second thought like so many Abraham supporters are doing.
I'm just fricking pissed that a candidate I supported chose to reinforce the GumboPac narrative against a fellow conservative that he knows is complete bullshite because he ran a shitty campaign and may be too late to fix it.

If Rispone is for Common Core than frick him!
Louisiana is so screwed.
Louisiana is so screwed.

I would rather you support Ralph Abraham than spend three more weeks here acting undecided. But I hope you vote for Eddie Rispone. You know those mild attack ads aren't going to have any impact like in 2015. Vitter's biggest problem was he was banging hookers. If Vitter wasn't banging hookers he wins even with the attack ads.

Sounds like just the guy Louisiana needs. Louisiana doesn't have conservative politicians. I'd kill for a Rand Paul or Ted Cruz to run this state.
Rand began the 2016 election cycle with the biggest advantage of all the GOP candidate. He basically inherited 25% of the republican caucus voters in Iowa and 22% of the voters in NHfrom his father. Rispne's campaign manager is the reason that Rand only won 4.5%. There was no reason for Rand not to win 20+% of the vote in Iowa. It was Reed's idea for Rand to spend more time at the chamber of commerce meetings trying to prevent Trump from winning Iowa instead of spending time on the college campuses locking down and building on the 25% that he inherited from his father. Which let Ted Cruz sweep in with his Camp Cruz and stole 80% of the Ron Paul supporters. By the time the campaign realized what was happening it was too late. It took the rest of the war chest to try and keep him with enough support to win a single delegate. Which also caused him to lose his support in NH too.
Why do you think that Rispone is third place even though he has spent millions more than Abraham? JBE's team will eat Reed's lunch in a runoff because the dude just does not know how to build a ground game.

Name recognition. Notice how once people knew who Eddie Rispone was he went up in the polls. He's been trending upwards the whole year.

Ground games are obsolete in 2019. Trump won the Presidency without a ground game.

It wasn't just Vitter doing everything he could to earn the loss himself including letting JBE sneak into the runoff uncontested without so much as a single tweet, ad spot or mailer against him.
But it was also two RINOs going scorched fricking Earth on a front runner they had no hope of defeating and still did not defeat but still made damn sure he had no hope of consolidating the vote.
There was one point in a debate where Angelle was encouraging the audience in a debate to check out a conspiracy blog about Vitter killing hookers. He hedged by saying he doesn't think it's true but check it out anyway.
And We let Angelle and Dardenne get away with bullshite like that because Louisiana is a red state and surely there was no way Vitter would lose the runoff to a democrat.
We took the whole situation for granted.
We cannot do that again with Rispone attacking Abraham while the democrat incumbent is a credible threat to win outright.

I’m not totally convinced that Angelle and (especially) Dardenne weren’t Dem plants.

WTF election were you watching? The RNC had a hell of a ground game that is why the GOP won the WH, HOR, and Senate.
Are you Bryan Reed? Because you sound about as clueless as Bryan was.
If you are Bryan Reed; I still have not gotten reimbursed for my flight from St. Maarten to Des Moines Iowa in December 2015. I want my money baw!

Is that insinuating that Eddy Rispony is taking something away from Ralphie’s campaign strategy of no ads or exposure?

You mean Eddie Jindel or Bobby Rispone?

I mean the guy is trying to attack Abraham’s generosity helping fly kids to st Jude and completely mis characterizing his charitable giving.
We the north know Abraham’s character and can tell rispones lack thereof. When you stoop so low as to lie about someone’s good deeds that don’t sit well in higher character areas so don’t expect people in north Louisiana to back your boy anytime soon.
He better hope he can win on south la alone.

Eddie Jindal's negative attack ads pushed away about 6% of the votes from Abraham and about half of those were north La democrats that have returned home and are voting for JBE. Which put JBE on the verge of winning this thing in the primary.
Posted on 9/26/19 at 8:58 pm to Damone
Angelle was a plant from Bobby Jindal who was determined to do everything he could to make sure Vitter did not win. Jindal put money, staff and other resources behind Angelle. He even dropped out of the presidential race the same week as the runoff to wreck Vitter some more through more negative headlines.
Jindal's little brown penis was so small that he would rather a RINO or a democrat be his successor than Vitter. That's how intense the feud was.
Dardenne is just your typical whore that sold his endorsement to JBE for a fat state pension. He's nobody's plant, just a whore that carries water for JBE's high tax and spend agenda despite calling himself "republican".

Yeah I've had my Eddie Rispone yard sign stolen a couple of times now. I need to booby trap it like those Trump 2016 signs.
