Looks like Georgia is now an unwinnable state for Republicans in statewide federal races

Gubernatorial and state races are different than federal races. People vote differently in those. Republicans win Gubernatorial races in places like Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maryland but they’ll never win a US Senate or Presidential race there. People vote differently when it comes to keeping people at home or sending them to Washington.

Georgia is now the same. A Republican will not win a statewide race again in Georgia as long as it’s a federal race where the Democrats are committed to vote harvesting. Atlanta has become an impenetrable monolithic cesspool of Democrat votes.

4 statewide federal election wins in a row for Democrats in Georgia.

I think it’s probably still close enough that if they put up a solid candidate, he can overcome the obstacles.

With candidates it is easy to carve 5% from..yes. You will never win GA.

A not greatly liked Republican governor just won.

Love Herschel but it wasn’t hard to convince people he was abusive and stupid. Not to mention abortion. *Amazing democrats can do this to a black man in Georgia.

The only way to cut into this is to appeal to the soyboy buckhead crowd.

That type of candidate won’t make it out of the primary because of the northern rural counties.

Going to have to be an established guy like Kemp to win a senate race there anytime soon.

I wonder what would have happened if Warnock had not been the incumbent.

early and mail in voting, the growth in population of Atlanta, vote harvesting, lack of republican commitment to encourage/promote/harvest early votes

You could have just said

Auto-voter registration plus vote harvesting.

Does Warnock support abortion openly? Has Herschel changed from the man who made the mistakes!

It’s all a pretty simple decision unless you listen to the lies and badgering!

Look at the man and quit listening to the media.

PS - it doesn’t matter, the elections are corrupt! Kemp isn’t liked a d got re-elected.

In Louisiana, JBE is despised and got re elected.

Another example of gubernatorial elections being different than federal elections. JBE wins Louisiana but a Democrat doesn’t have a chance in hell of winning a US Senate race or Presidential race in Louisiana.

Republicans sit home if they don't like something about the candidate.

Democrats don't give a frick about the candidate. They just want the seat/vote in Congress.

Walker is a terrible candidate.

Warnock is also a POS.

The difference is Dems don't care. Reps do.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Pick a better candidate and he will win. Shall we run through the list of better options, again?

It's rigged bud. Think logically about how Republicans can run away with the state other than a few races.
