I'll vote for him.

Would be a rough choice between a clean African American and a woman. Who would the networks attack? Just kidding, we know they would attack Ben.

Oh wait.
Collin Powell is the last person he reminds me of, yes there will always be wolves in sheep's clothes, buy I just don't see it with Carson. Powell never claimed to be anything but a moderate, Powell was more of a token of bush because bush was so fricking worried that people thought of himself as compassionate

He'll be a good Veep for Paul

IMO, not being a career politician is a GOOD thing for President.
I hate career politicians because they are already bought by lobbyists. I like guys like Carson who aren't part of the system and might be more in touch with everyday Americans. He can surround himself with good personnel to help with the job as President.
i agree ... that's why i asked the question ...

Bound to be good for many laughs.
why? ... cause he just doesn't have the experience your master had when he ran for president? ...

From what I've seen, he's not afraid to say what needs to be said. That's why.

Is Carson an Austrian or Keynesian? What are views on foreign policy? What are his views on welfare? The drug war? Foreign aid? Second amendment? Fourth? Fifth? Anything?

I tend to remember not liking some of his thoughts on guns. No specifics as I've been studying all night. This country needs a leader not a feel good friend. Still in for Rand or bust at this point.

I thought all one needed for credentials as president is past experience as a community organizer?!

Yep! I remember Obama laughing when Dr. Carson made his speech at the prayer breakfast. You remember pitching a fit over how Obama got his arse handed to him by Dr. Carson.

It's pretty much Rand or bust for me as well... Foreign affairs will be his weak spot but you can't have everything

quote:i don't disagree.......he is not a politician. IMO that is not a bad thing. Harry Reid is a politician, as are most of the f**kers in D.C. He is not an ideologue but a common sense spokesman.
I'd be thoroughly surprised if he made it to South Carolina. He doesn't 't seem to have a touch for politics. That matters whether you want it to or not.

I'd like some political seasoning though.
