The realm we live in is Level and Stationary. Allow your human senses and observable reality to dictate and define your true worldview and perception. Not what we were indoctrinated with in school and shown on a screen.

Reflectors on the moon is obviously BS since the laser would come back at another location due to earth's supposed rotation.
"Moon rocks" given to governments around the world turned out to be petrified wood. I was shocked to find google didn't censor this story and I found articles.

Yes - the Command Module Pilots definitely had the supporting role in the overall Apollo program. He was the one who I had the least contact with.
During that time I led the team to develop procedures for "Lunar Rescue" should something happen after the LM Ascent Module got into lunar orbit but could not complete the rendezvous. To do that we had a "part-task simulator" to test the efficacy of our procedures. We needed people thoroughly capable of operating the Apollo spacecraft for that.
It turns out that completion for ANY seat on an Apollo mission was highly prized for all the astronaut candidates.
Collins was the CMP on the first landing mission = Any training he did was on the Main Apollo Mission Simulator - it was the one where every item on the entire spacecraft was simulated with full capacity to insert 'failures' for training purposes.
I operated a 'part-task trainer' devoted only to the situation of 'rescuing' an inoperable Lunar Module in moon orbit. Its only purpose was to develop the best procedure possible for using the CMP controls to make all maneuvers necessary for docking with (rescuing) a disabled LM.
But for "wannabe" Command Module Pilot candidates, it represented a great way for them to practice operating the CM controls for a critical phase, so they were anxious to 'help' us validate the rescue procedures we were preparing.
So - my exposure to the Apollo crew came primarily thru that process - once any of them "made it" to designated crew status, their time was consumed by the Mission Simulator.
Long response - written in spits and spurts over the past few days - very active around here right now.

Hes a moron. Simple trips like space shuttle, Apollo 13 etc had breakdowns and faults, even with advanced knowledge, materials, calculations etc etc etc

And let's not forget, when pressed for all the documents, calculation, and saved data from the mission, it all just magically disappeared.
