BS. Trump had a right and a duty to challenge the veracity of the vote. Produce the Jan 6 video for public viewing so we can see the whole truth; I.e., that the whole thing was a Dem/Deep State bait and prosecute operation. A real Conspiracy to cover for a fraudulent election. Disgusting. And the reason that Humans always end up killing each other instead engaging in honest talk to solve differences.

Should we tell him who has the video?

That isn't what he said...he said Trump "should have acted more forcefully"

He is entirely correct

Only sycophants like yourself have a problem with what he said.

This is the "sensitive" part he talking about.

quote:

You can argue trump should have done more or done it more quickly. But it is factually untrue to say he did nothing.

I made a post dumbing down human speech, to Jjdoc. I'm not saying you are this bad or you don't understand it, but it may help if you are more sensitive about things with a certain candidate than with others. If not, feel free to ignore.

I like DeSantis. He misspoke here. He also defended Trump on the important issue. It’s not a big deal.

To be fair, you didn't start out with this mindset. Thus all the back and forth.

Did you read the actual statement or the lie that JJ posted?

Why do you feel the need to lie?

2:38 p.m.: Trump urges people to "support our Capitol police and law enforcement," and tweets that "they are truly on the side of our country. Stay peaceful!"

The point is that it became a riot when the mob pushed past the police. However peaceful it may have been, the threat of violence was still there.

Now you tell me, why did Trump wait over an hour and a half from when it became a riot to when he told people to go home? After all, he had people from both parties begging him to tell his people to disperse - but he waited. Why?

He should have come out more forcefully, of course, that. But to try to criminalize that, that’s a different issue entirely, and I think that we want to be in a situation where, you know, you don’t have one side just constantly trying to put the other side in jail. And that unfortunately is what we’re seeing now.”

Unless you think Trump doesn’t deserve ANY criticism, even extremely extremely mild criticism, this is nothing.

He even defends him here.

This is why I'm hopeful for Barry. He might goose step with folks like JjGoebbels from time to time, but he's at least been willing to walk it back when he realizes he's gone too far.

It does make me question his often asserted position that folks like tarzana are actually DeSantis Bros, though.

You are, of course leaving off key words.

I thought you were an attorney?

Are you ignorant to the fact that during Trumps speech he asked the crowd to “protest peacefully and patriotically?” If you’re not ignorant to that fact then you purposefully omitted it from your timeline. So which is it? A flat out lie or you were just ignorant?

Didn’t do anything are the key words to me pointing out the statement was factually incorrect. I’m not sure why this is hard to grasp. It has been my point since post one.

A simple yes or no question. Is it factually correct to say that Trump didn’t do anything?

“While, while things were going on”? Depending on your definition of those words, yes it’s factually correct. I’m not aware of Trump doing anything besides tweet which I do not consider “doing anything”

He literally used the words “ didn’t do anything”.

What he said was factually untrue. Unless you’re like fun bunch and don’t consider the video tweet doing something. Throwing out sycophant is silly when I am simply pointing out a simple fact.
