Our Lutheran synod and others like it a not liberal at all. Bible based.
I think the Catholic churches are much more liberal than we are.
I assume Baptist ones are similarly bible based.
The main delineation as I see it is bible based compared to non bible based. Names of the denominations can be deceiving.

Hell, the Catholic Church had a representative on TV several years ago making the case that they would support the democratic party on spending, big government, etc. if they came around on abortion. WTF. Big religion is right up there with big government in corruption, I mean they use to BE the damn government in most of the world.

The Episcopalian Church as an institution has been loony liberal for a long time; I'm not sure about the congregants themselves, but that is the wealthiest denomination

Hummm...maybe "good old Roman Catholicism" is not so good anymore. IMO the problem with that statement? Bergoglio (aka Pope Francis ) and his German Cardinal/Bishop pals are systematically dismantling Orthodox Catholicism. It just hasn't gotten to us yet.
Plus Bergoglio is consorting with the ChiComs. Even Joseph Cardinal Zen couldn't take it anymore. Took the bold and unusual step of criticizing the Vatican for cutting this ridiculous agreement with the ChiComs. An agreement to create an "official government sponsored Catholic Church of China". Ink wasn't even dry on the agreement when China began to bulldoze churches, kick priest out of their rectories, and arrested and imprisoned others.

And leaving people empty as they try to achieve some kind of righteousness without Christ. I like to call it religiousity. The prosperity garbage is the absolute worst though. They teach as if God is some kind of wish granter, and if you’re not Getting rich, you need to tithe more, and if that’s not working than it must be you’re not good enough or have sin. There are a lot of people that have been duped by this garbage that it’s truly awful, but worse is what it’s done to push them away from the truth of the Gospel that it’s not about them and their righteousness, but Christ and His righteousness, and you can’t get anywhere without Him and daily.

The progress of the Reformation has been wiped out by abandoning the scriptures. So many churches these days are ore focused on getting people in the doors rather than making disciples of Jesus Christ.
