Hood is probably kicking himself for not just quietly running for re-election as AG and now realizes he will need to become an ambulance chaser after losing his job tonight.

Called for Delbert - a win for the good guys.

Looking at the election map on the NYT I'm betting it strongly reflects demographics as well.

Do we have a free press?
Of course we don't.
We all know it.

Weird how politico and CNN show far different results so far.
CNN has Tate up over 60k votes

He’s kicking himself because he couldn’t get enough of disaffected Waller/Foster voters in Desoto county to cross the aisle. If he’d performed strongly there he could’ve won pretty handily in a red state.

He would been smart the night Trump had rally in Tupelo he would something in Desoto.. But nope

Hood won Chickasaw County.

This is going to be closer than last year's #MSSEN race b/c of Hood (D)'s strong roots/performance in Northeast MS, but he's falling short in several other key parts of the state. #MSGOV

It is going to turn around in a bit and Tate is going to be sweating, just the order the reporting is done in and most red counties have already reported a far higher % than the blues or are finishing off while the blue ones will be the last to report.
Have you never paid attention to a MS statewide election before?

Being from Houston is both blessing and curse here. South/North divide is a real thing

I love the Delta counties that have under 10 precincts, but none reported yet. Hmmm.

So, Phil Bryant is at Delbert’s party - not at Tater’s???
