How did Ronnie Musgrove win in 1999? Could that be repeated tonight?

State wasn't as Republican back then. The national party going full retard killed the brand name.

Just compare a county by county map of the 1992 and 2016 elections.

Far better is a bit of a stretch but no doubt he would raise taxes and stop the forward momentum we’ve built up business wise. Tate’s negatives are substantial and Bryant and the GOB knew it like the other poster said. It was just #HisTurn

yep, and in all honestly him losing would do the state GOP a bit of good, it needs an enema.

This is the problem with super majorities, they start believing their own bullshite after a while.

Hood went to Ole Miss for undergrad and law, looks like Tate went to Millsaps, no graduate degree.

Hood went to Ole Miss. He’s an attorney.

Tate went to Millsaps. He’s a CPA.

I hope Tate wins by 1 vote and it’s enough of a wake up call for the idiots running the GOP in MS to actually put forward the best candidates and not just the ones who have licked the most boots and waited their damn turn. Tate is the Hilary Clinton of the MS Republican Party. I almost sat at home today and didn’t vote for him but I didn’t want to leave Delbert hanging trying to get legislation passed and signed into law.

I bet the MS ACLU already has voter suppression lawsuits typed, signed, and dated for tomorrow; ready to go. They'll bus Abrams down to Jackson for a protest.

You and Cave are hitting it on the nose. The state party needs its junk kicked in to foster a competent bench. It’s silly because the Dem’s is so weak they have to run as R’s to get traction. Happened in my county
