It couldn't possibly be because;
1-He would actually win an election over any dem.
2-He won't shite on them publicly every single day
3-He would actually work with them to grow the party versus his own brand
4-He would support down ballot candidates versus hoarding everything for himself
5-He would work with them to get things passed instead of resorting to easily reversed EO's.

Have you not learned politics is about control?
They couldn't control Trump so they kept him under investigation, which everyone could see was a witch-hunt.
The GOPe is only going to back a controllable candidate, that's a fact.

Yet the same people howling that he's the choice of the GOPe are strangely quiet when Lockdown Don goes golfing with Ms. Lindsey, plots elections with McCarthy, etc.
They also ignore the fact the two prominent Senate candidates he promoted are the two most at risk of losing in what should be a red wave election. (One of which is running against a guy that makes Biden look like Elon Musk.)

I like BDR, I think he probably can't be controlled, but I KNOW Trump can't be controlled, so I'm pulling for Trump while he's still fit to lead, and then BDR and Lake, if they hold up over time, will be the most promising options going forward.
