I read the thread title as LinkedIn provides a field to indicate you are in an IR and I thought "why does that matter?" Now, as I read it I realize you're just saying some people are voluntarily advertising their relationship on LinkedIn. I don't see why that's relevant but if people want to do it, so be it.

Because I just hate to see African Kings bleach out their bloodlines.

No, the whole premise is fricking dumb. Again, how does an interracial couple profit from it? Let's say my wife is black. Do you honestly think a company would hire me, perhaps at a premium wage, for the simple fact that I'm in an interracial marriage? The numbers do show that a white man/black woman pairing makes more money that other combinations, but that has more to do with higher education levels, not because some corporation decided that them fricking deserves a pay raise. But hey, if you feel like proving the flimsy claim that corporations pay more to interracial couples, feel free.

Why report it on a professional networking site if it doesn't help your career?
Site is not social as you claim
It doesn't ask details on your family. If you are sharing your family you are only doing it if you think it helps you.
Honestly this not a hot topic for me happy to disagree. Your children, who you date, or marriage doesnt belong on linkedin in my opinion
