That would be me. I could write myself in and have the same success rate as voting for a Libertarian.
"The best of two evils" is your approach. Good ole Edwin Edwards type populism.
In 20 years, y'all will still be screaming at the sky, wondering why nothing has changed, and people don't your tribe.
Trot out a good Republican candidate, I'll vote for them.

Seems like you're a few million short.

Its been this way for decades. Most Americans are more conservative leaning than progressive.
Progressive is a far left category of liberalism and not a good comparison to white bread conservatism. I think most Americans are moderates, probably swinging a tad liberal.
Why do democrats win almost all high turnout elections if there are more conservatives in the US?

Sell me on voting 3rd party. Explain how voting 3rd party isn't going to get us more of what you pretend to hate.
You two are arguing voting via process vs voting for a result. Voting is supposed to be the process of choosing the candidate that best represents your values.
Your logic isn’t wrong, the principle behind it is the issue. Thinking like yours is why we are in the mess we are in because the masses are susceptible to believing that one side or the other is the solution and there aren’t more options.
The GOP did everything they could to not have trump be the nominee In 2016 because it’s not who they wanted, just like the Dems railroaded Bernie and gave them Killary. You’re being spoonfed who to vote for even starting in the primaries.
All that said, it doesn’t do a lot of good to vote via process when almost no one else is doing the same, but it is a principled stance. So neither of you is “wrong”, you’re coming at the issue from different angles.

Arent you the one that voted for Edwards?
You still buying that?
No, I didn't. Last time I voted for Louisiana Governor was for Mike Foster. Next one I'll vote for, is the next one worth a shite.
I trolled the board, and clearly crushed it.
A libertarian voting Dem then lying about it
That sums up the clown show that is the Libertarian Party
