I believe another thread has stated that McConnell has blocked out part of January for the trial.
If they have a trial and the administrators (prosecutors) don’t show up, it allows the Senate to declare the House having rested their case and then Trump being allowed to make a defense.

Levin is Constitution gold; if He says it...you can bet it'll stand up to Constitutional scrutiny.

Levin knows the Constitution better than anybody I know of but especially anybody in media. I’ll take his word for it.

He may be the best conservative commentator on talk radio outside of Limbaugh. He's certainly the top conservative constitutional scholar. He just gets alot of flak for when he goes into angry rants.

I don't think they can have a trial without the charges being sent to the Senate. Mitch's declaring it null and void since the House refuses to send it would send the Dems howling out into the street.
