Dems - check
Media - check
Some in academia - check
Now it's the Chamber of Commerce
I partially agree....I mean we don't have South African diamond mines and we never would have had the virus without the Chinese asshoes plus we're a little short in new illegals so we to import those; other than these I want "Made in the fricking US" labels on shite.

“Protecting the resiliency of our supply chain doesn’t have to mean reshoring all production in the United States,” Donohue said.
Donohue said there will “continue to be a huge place in the U.S. economy for a global supply chain.”

I have money coming in from China and co-workers in China. The issue isn't that companies have operations in China, it's just that we exported too much of our manufacturing out of the country as a whole and things have gotten so tedious that little parts are made in different countries and any disruption causes problems.

They don't need to be on the payroll. They outsource because it means not paying their workers.

The US Chamber of Commerce cites China as their single largest backer .... which explains the CoC's pro-globalist, anti-main street stance on most any piece of legislation.
Just one example .... the CoC, MSM, and Dems support open borders and lax immigration enforcement ... because that is what China and the cartels desire.
Congress doesn't write legislation anymore .... lobbyists do. And China is the 800 pound gorilla among lobbyists in the US
Tom Donohue should be exiled ....

Who is on the ChiCom payroll? Just about every democrat politician currently in the U.S.Congress.

Trump: China Is "Desperate" For "Sleepy Joe Biden To Win"
by Tyler Durden, Thu, 05/21/2020 - 08:44
Perhaps this November, China will be the new "Russia" in terms of blame-game for outside electoral interference?
President Trump fired off a late-night tweet Wednesday saying China hopes to see presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden take the White House so Beijing can could "continue to rip-off the United States, as they have done for decades."
"China is on a massive disinformation campaign because they are desperate to have Sleepy Joe Biden win the presidential race so they can continue to rip-off the United States, as they have done for decades, until I came along!" the president said in the provocative tweet
This follows earlier Trump tweets charging Beijing with a carefully orchestrated "disinformation and propaganda attack on the United States and Europe" which he slammed as "a disgrace."
"It all comes from the top," the president added of China's coronavirus cover-up efforts. "They could have easily stopped the plague, but they didn’t!"
But Trump's late night post certainly wasn't the first time China and the November presidential election was invoked.
Biden, for example, recently released an ad which charged that Trump has been too weak on China amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and distastrous economic and unemployment fallout.
As multiple recent polls have suggested, anti-China sentiment among the American public is on the rise in the wake of the corona-crisis, and clearly both candidates' teams are not only clearly aware, but hope to tap into the growing anger.
However, a series of China-focused ads out of the Biden campaign have already backfired to a large degree, given the progressive wing of Biden's constituency are already calling them "racist and xenophobic".

You can thank mostly the Clinton/Newtron tax legislation for that. It actually paid companies to shutdown manufacturing here annually for 5 years if they didn't tear it down during that time. This is why demolition of manufacturing began in earnest nationwide beginning in 2004, lasting to 2008 when China was building like a mofo.
Additionally, when natural gas prices were high and expected to rise still further, manufacturing plants for ammonia and methanol, dependent on natural gas as a feedstock, began to close in the 1990's and Clinton allowed China to send Chinese labor crews to dismantle them and send them to China.
