but not total infrastructure destruction, like from a natural disaster.

Infrastructure is typically easy to rebuild.

A complicated monetary system backed on the faith in a world hegemon, which creates international trade that's advanced society more in 20-30 years than the 200-300 prior, is not easy to rebuild.

I was told there would be no math in this apocalypse.

Distribution of funds is what will have to be figured out quickly.

What funds? There won't be a monetary system to create funds to distribute.

Sounds to me as if you and your buddy, TigerSprings, are the ones who are feeling emasculated right now. So you default to lashing out and creating fantasies about how the world is crashing down around you, but you will be the ones to survive and thrive.

Why aren't you thriving now?

Crypto is a joke in a post collapse scenario. Let me just bring my generator and satellite transponder to buy this bag of corn.

Silver and ammo hounds will be cutting your infrastructure

In a collapse, they'll probably still work, just handled by unscrupulous people.

You'd see the rise of the warlords.

I will be fine either way. I doubt you can say the same.

This is what I am saying will not happen. I do not think the world will crumble if the dollar crashes. I think most people will survive. Thriving will be difficult for everyone for 2 years or so.
I trust that men will get back to work. I hope that you will join us.

Or a question successful people don't have to answer.

Its the insecure ones who constantly believe they've arrived.

For some it will, others would be excited about the chance to rebuild. Its not like the current infrastructure is disappearing.

Enterprising people will be up and running.

Lol, the boomers on this board are the ones wishcasting the Econ collapse.

The Boomers have been around long enough to recognize the mass corruption and gross incompetence throughout the federal government and its related agencies. It's like we're going to get our own version of the Great Depression my parents use to tell the family about when we were growing up.

The dead ender fantasy. "This time I'm going to make it!"

I went to school, worked hard (sometimes) and walked away with lots of cash and prizes. So yeah I'm not in favor blowing the whole thing up. Life is good.

Now, losers in life, people that really dont have anything (and no prospects for getting anything) are all for blowing it up. Why not you struck out the first time now you want a do over. But that isnt how it works, losers are losers, the external circumstances dont really matter.
